Since qualifying as a BACP-registered counsellor over 10 years ago, I have been dedicated to helping individuals with mental health challenges through one-on-one counselling and Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) groups. I’ve also had the privilege of embarking on a fulfilling volunteer role at Place2Be, supporting primary school-age children within a school setting. My client work has deepened my understanding of the human capacity for growth and resilience and reinforced my commitment to fostering emotional well-being at every stage of life.
In recent years, one approach that has ignited my passion is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). With its emphasis on collaboration and finding practical solutions, SFBT is a cost-effective therapy option that can be seamlessly conducted remotely online.
